The context

Rémy Cointreau’s internal training offer enables managers to acquire and/or reinforce the skills needed to carry out their missions. In this background where distance is becoming the norm, the training team wanted to enrich its offer with a course allowing managers to rethink their interactions with their teams and to identify new benchmarks and managerial habits at a distance.

The idea

Capitalizing on its experience in business transformation and the application of cognitive design, Humans Matter has co-constructed with the training team a fully remote course to give managers the keys to adapt their posture to the remote management context. This course is based on 3 main points: giving meaning, rethinking interactions and developing attention, and letting go.

The solution

The experience developed by Humans Matter for Rémy Cointreau managers is composed of 4 two-hour modules spread over 4 weeks and newsletters to raise awareness of the topics covered between the modules. It allows the reinvention of managerial practices in terms of guidance, coordination and support of employees. Thus, 3 objectives are set:

  • To increase, through distance learning, the meaning and quality of HR/managerial content and meetings previously held in person.
  • To work better together through new benchmarks and remote managerial habits. It is also a question of rethinking interactions, both individual and collective, to combine performance and commitment.
  • Accepting to let go and developing attention capacities.

To achieve this, we use several levers throughout the training program.

First of all, a digital space on Miro to facilitate the practical application of each participant and prepare the scenarios proposed in each module.

It is accompanied by conversations and contributions on Teams.

Each participant has the opportunity to evolve individually and collectively around simulated situations such as the animation of a collective meeting at a distance or the conduct of individual interviews.

A cognitive checklist for remote management, based on social-cognitive principles, completes each participant’s personalized toolbox.

The program ends with a collective intelligence session on the WeSuccess solution to co-construct an action plan on a concrete issue in the field.

WeSuccess is a Humans Matter product.
